Favgo has no account, no server of its own and no analytics. It contains no third-party tracking libraries of any kind. Nothing you save is uploaded to us, because there is no “us” to upload it to.
The places you save (their names, addresses and coordinates), along with your settings, arrival times and alert preferences, are stored on your device. The Favgo widget reads them through a private app group on your iPhone. Your iPhone also sends your places, settings and latest travel times to your paired Apple Watch, so the watch app and its complication can use them. Nothing in that exchange reaches us.
If you are signed in to iCloud, this data also syncs to your own private iCloud database, so your places survive changing phones. That copy belongs to your Apple Account and is held by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy. We cannot read it: we operate no server and never receive a copy. You can switch the sync off under Settings › your name › iCloud, and Favgo keeps working from local storage.
Favgo also stores the date your free trial started in your iPhone's Keychain, so that deleting and reinstalling the app does not restart the trial. It is only a date. It stays on that iPhone, is not synced to iCloud and is not removed when you delete the app.
Deleting Favgo from a device removes the copy on that device, apart from the trial date above. The iCloud copy is removed when you delete Favgo's iCloud data from your iCloud settings.
Favgo uses your location to work out how long it takes to reach the places you have saved. Your location is used to compute travel times and is not stored as a history, not transmitted to us, and not shared with anyone.
Favgo asks for “Always” location access. This lets the widget, the watch complication and leave-now alerts refresh while the app is closed. If you grant “While Using the App” instead, Favgo still works, but those surfaces only update when you open the app.
Travel times come from Apple Maps (MapKit), which is part of iOS and watchOS. To calculate a route, your device sends your location and your destination to Apple. That exchange is between your device and Apple and is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy. Favgo does not receive a copy.
If you choose to open a route in another navigation app, that app receives the destination you picked and its own privacy policy applies from that point.
Leave-now alerts are scheduled locally on your device; their content never leaves it and we operate no notification server. Favgo does receive silent pushes from Apple's iCloud service telling it that your data changed on another device. Those carry none of your content and are never shown to you.
When you share an arrival time, Favgo hands a plain sentence to the iOS share sheet, for example “On my way home, there around 6:40.” Only that text is shared. Your coordinates and your live location are never included. Where the message goes from there is up to the app you choose to send it with.
Favgo Pro is sold through Apple's In-App Purchase system, as a monthly or yearly subscription or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Payments, renewals and cancellations are handled entirely by Apple. Favgo receives only a signal from iOS saying whether a purchase or subscription is active. We never see your name, your payment details or your Apple Account.
Favgo is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone. It collects no personal information from any user, of any age.
Because Favgo holds no data about you on any server of its own, there is nothing for us to export, correct or delete on request. Your data stays under your control: delete a saved place inside the app, delete the app to remove the copy on your device, and delete Favgo's data in your iCloud settings to remove the iCloud copy.
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with an updated date. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
