Two settings are easy to miss, and both are needed:
Add the complication to an active watch face, the one you actually wear. A complication that only lives in the Smart Stack gets a very small refresh budget from watchOS and will update rarely.
watchOS decides how often background refreshes happen and reduces them when the battery is low or the watch is off your wrist. Raising your wrist and looking at the face always shows the most recent figure.
Nothing is deleted. The free plan keeps one location active; the rest are locked. Their names, addresses and settings stay exactly where they are. Buy Favgo Pro and they all come back immediately.
The active location is simply the one at the top of your list. Drag a place to the top to make it the active one.
Yes, through your own iCloud. If you are signed in to iCloud, your saved places are kept in your private iCloud database. They come back when you reinstall Favgo, and they appear on a new iPhone signed in to the same Apple Account. This can take a moment after the app first opens. Your Apple Watch gets them from your iPhone.
If they don't come back, check that iCloud is on for Favgo under Settings → your name → iCloud. Favgo works without iCloud too, but then your places stay only on that iPhone.
Open Settings inside Favgo, tap Go Premium, then tap Restore Purchases at the bottom of that screen. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple Account you bought with.
Subscriptions are handled by Apple, so you cancel them in your iPhone's Settings rather than inside Favgo: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Favgo. Pro stays on until the end of the period you have paid for. After that the free plan applies again: extra locations are locked, never deleted.
Purchases are handled by Apple, so refunds go through Apple rather than through us: reportaproblem.apple.com.
Check that notifications are allowed for Favgo in Settings → Notifications, that the location has a target arrival time set, and that the weekdays you expect are selected on that location.
Yes. A one-off reminder is separate from your recurring target time: setting one does not disturb your everyday alert, and both can be active at once.
